This are all the layers for each learner which
the learner has learned with timely practice or
the learner knew already (found during the pre assess process)
Questions from these layers will be scheduled by the timely practice app. The app waits at least the “depth of learning” days between one practice and the next.
The purpose is to embed the learning more deeply into the learners long term memory rather than allow forgetting to happen.

The timely practice cycle is as follows
the teacher creates a timely practice assignment - which asks the learner a questions on some layers (chosen by the app) from the due layers
the learner completes the assignment - asking for help if they need it
the teacher assess the assignment
the app adjusts the depth of learning (the minimum time the app will wait between one practice and the next) for each layer
the layers wait until they are due
