Students
- shouldn't copy - as the teacher wants to find out what they can independently do - and anyway each student has different questions
- should proudly show any workings out near the question
- can't ask for help with doing maths
- can ask for help with reading a word
- can write down an answer even if they think it might be wrong
- can let the teacher know useful information by writing the code to the teacher on the answer line or in the answer space
- F = forgotten or can't remember
- NL = never learned
- NH = need help
- NS = not sure
- NC = need calculator (write down the sum they would do on a calculator if they had one).
