These are all the layers for each learner which

• the learner has learned with timely practice or

• the learner knew already (found during the pre assess process)

Questions from these layers will be scheduled by the timely practice app according to the retrieval practice cycle

The app, ideally, waits for between ready and overdue number of days between one practice and the next.

The purpose is to embed the learning more deeply into the learners long term memory rather than allow forgetting to happen.
